Senior Account Executive – SaaS Growth (FMCG Retail)

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive with a proven track record in scaling enterprise SaaS and consultancy solution sales.. You combine commercial sharpness with an understanding of FMCG retail processes, ERP and quality systems, and sustainability topics. In this pioneering role, you will work directly with our CEO, your AE colleague, sales support marketing and customer success teams to build ImpactBuying’s commercial foundation and accelerate our international growth.
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience as BDR and AE in SaaS software sales, ideally in scale-ups
- Proven track record of hitting targets and closing mid-market to enterprise-level, complex deals
- Experience with FMCG retail and familiarity with ERP, quality, and compliance processes
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Skilled at combining outbound prospecting, partner collaboration, and nurturing past opportunities to build a strong pipeline.
- Affinity with sustainability, ESG, and operational supply chain topics
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
- Self-starting, result-oriented, and comfortable in a dynamic environment
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on SaaS and consultancy growth
- Build and manage the full sales process, from lead generation to deal closing
- Identify opportunities with international retailers and brands in FMCG
- Navigate client discussions on compliance, supply chain, ERP, and sustainability
- Balance prospecting for new accounts with nurturing and expanding existing prospects, recognizing that our sales cycles require longer-term relationship building as we sell services.
- Shape and optimize sales processes and tooling for a scaling organization
- Negotiate contracts and contribute to predictable revenue growth
- Collaborate with marketing, consulting, and product teams to serve prospects effectively
- Translate client insights into improvements for our solutions
Requirements
- Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent)
- Affinity with sustainability, ESG, and operational supply chain topics
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
- 5+ years of experience as BDR and AE in SaaS software sales, ideally in scale-ups
