How can business reduce their scope 3 emissions across supply chain and how can retailers and producers collaborate to deliver on climate targets?
On Wednesday, June 18, ImpactBuying is hosting the Climate Impact Event (Dutch spoken). During this event, we’ll dive into the growing importance of climate data in the supply chain. This full day conference will bring together leading retailers, producers and key stakeholders from the Netherlands and Belgium to provide insights into tackling Scope 3 emissions across supply chains.
Measuring your climate impact is something every company will need to get into with current legislation. How can you best prepare your company for the impact of climate legislation? What methodology and tools are available and how do you make sure you track progress towards targets? When is the data good enough to report on it? Many smaller companies might ask how they actually get started? And how are others approaching this challenge?
The program will provide an insight into the lessons learned the past 2 years from the Climate Consortium and will cover cover topics such as:
- The impact of upcoming legislation (like the EU CSRD) on retailers’ data needs
- The importance of understanding your product carbon footprint
- The importance of using primary data to show progress over time
- Practical tools and insights to help make your climate impact transparent
- Once you have the insights; how do you reduce? What are the incentives?
- How can retailers and producers collaborate to reach ambitious reduction targets?
The Climate Impact Event is the place to gain knowledge, exchange experiences, and discover how to future-proof your business in a world where climate impact is at the center.
The event will be at De Landgoederij in Bunnik, the Netherlands.
